Your Art Here

Astolfi_2016_WinterMountainI just dropped off three small watercolors for a postcard show at Fountain Street Studios in Framingham, MA. You can preview and purchase all the postcards here.

Looking forward to the collage party that accompanies this exhibit!

How Far

I’m pleased that one of my abstract watercolors, “How Far,” will be included in the InVision exhibit at the Davis Art Gallery of Worcester, MA from September 10, 2015-January 8, 2016.

The Davis Art Gallery invites you to the opening reception for InVision: 2D & 3D Landscape

Explore the meaning of “Landscape” as more than 80 artists present diverse interpretations of physical, spiritual, cultural, and ecological vistas. Painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, and mixed media will be on display.

Community Supported Art 2014

I will be making 50 paintings this summer to be distributed in CSArt shares this fall!

I heard about this project last year and knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of it. I’m thrilled that I was selected, and now will spend the summer working on a series that has been percolating for quite some time.

I’m especially looking forward to making connections with other local artists and the art lovers who purchase shares. From time to time I will be meeting up with the artists also producing work this summer to talk about the business of art and the projects we’re working on. There is such great variety in our backgrounds and approaches! The shares will include artists books, ceramics, letterpress, origami, photography, and several paintings.

Visit the Cambridge Center for Adult Education website if you’d like to buy a share:

“CSArt 2014 shares cost $300. No more than 50 shares will be sold in each round, to keep the line of art special. Shareholders receive all nine works of art — at a fantastic value — from emerging and mid-career artists; develop relationships with local artists; discover new artists; meet their fellow shareholders; and explore a variety of disciplines. CSArt features unique art, not commercial, mass-produced articles. That’s what makes it special!”

Sulfur Moon

My new painting, Sulfur Moon, will be on display at Hope and Feathers in Amherst, MA as part of their December Small Works Show.

Opening party on Friday December 13, 5-8pm! The exhibit runs December 9 – January 18.

Hope and Feathers encourages “competitive” pricing for this show; visit for lots of great original art at affordable prices!
